"Therapy for the heart, mind and soul"

About Me

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, in practice for over 20 years.

My goal in therapy with my clients, is to offer tools of support. With these tools I can address obstacles and outdated coping mechanisms that have prevented you from achieving your greatest hopes and dreams. Additionally, my training with Family Constellation work has taught me to "see" how unresolved inter-generational traumas and grief may also participate in the challenges of your life. These unresolved unconscious family issues can be affecting you in ways which leave you frustrated and wondering why you feel so stuck.

My office is @ 558 B Street, Santa Rosa, CA 95401.

I can be reached at 707.322.2766.

I do my best to immediately answer calls I receive. However, if leave a voicemail, I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Please feel welcome to call me with any questions you have regarding my services and/or fees.

I do offer a sliding scale to those who are in need. This is something we can negotiate together.

Services

I have extensive experiences working with individuals, couples and families.

I offer supportive services to special needs children, and their families, by teaming up with other professionals (such as the child's pediatrician, teacher, etc.) already in support of this child. I find that a "team approach" has the best outcomes for my clients.

With my support you may:

  • Discover hidden family dynamics that exert control over your life without your knowing it.
  • Move beyond blame and guilt to find genuine, deeper sources of connection and renewal.
  • Understand how current physical or mental illness, addiction, relationship problems and any number of other issues may be related to unresolved issues and secrets held by past generations and a legacy of denial.
  • Shift from a position of weakness and pain to a position of strength and well-being.
  •

Thoughts to ponder from a Family Constellation perspective:

Many therapists practicing traditional and alternative therapies like to say: "we treat the whole person, not just the disease".  We all know that sometimes, treating the whole person is not enough.  We know that there are people who don't get better, even after visiting those "whole-person" therapists. A Family Constellation approach takes healing to a higher level.  Bert Hellinger, the originator, says, "in order to help a person, you should also treat his family system". This approach can get to the root of unconscious family patterns of entanglement. These entanglements often manifest as patterns of dysfunction in one's relationships, work life, and life outlook in general. Shedding light on once unconscious family dynamics can result in a sense of a "burden being lifted".
